How Our Free In-Home Water Testing Works for Florida Homeowners
Florida Water Analysis has helped Florida homeowners understand their water since 2010. Our free in-home water test is simple. We test your water at your home, explain what the results mean in plain language, and recommend treatment only if your water needs it. The test costs nothing and you’re under no obligation to buy anything.
This page explains every step, so you know exactly what to expect before you book.
We’re a private, independent water treatment company
Florida Water Analysis is a private, independent business based at 119 Ave D SE, Winter Haven, Florida. We are not a government agency, city department or water utility, and we are not affiliated with any of them.
We’re a local water treatment company that has served homeowners across Central and South Florida for more than 15 years. If you’ve received information about water testing and aren’t sure whether it came from us, call us at 863-662-5570 or email test@floridawateranalysis.com and we’ll be happy to confirm.
What Happens During a Free Water Test?
1. Book Your Free Test
Call us at 863-662-5570, email info@floridawateranalysis.com, or use our Free Water Test page to arrange a time that suits you. Our office is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with Saturday visits available by appointment.
2. We Test Your Water in Your Home
We come to your home and test the water from your tap. The test is free, whether your home uses city water or a private well.
3. We Explain Your Results
We go through your results with you in plain, everyday language, so you understand what’s in your water and what isn’t. Ask as many questions as you like.
4. We Offer Tailored Recommendations
If your results show something worth treating, we explain the options that fit your home’s water. If your water doesn’t need treatment, we’ll tell you that too. Every recommendation is based on your own water, not a one-size-fits-all package.
5. You Decide in Your Own Time
What happens next is entirely up to you. There’s no cost for the test and no commitment to buy. You’re welcome to take your results away, compare them, talk them over with your family and decide when you’re ready.
You can hear your results and recommendations and decide what, if anything, you would like to do next.
There is no requirement to purchase a system simply because you have booked a free test.
Check your results against your own water report
We encourage every homeowner to make an informed decision. Every public water utility publishes an annual Water Quality Report, also called a Consumer Confidence Report (CCR). It summarizes the quality of the water your utility supplies.
After your free test, you’re welcome to put your results side by side with your utility’s report. Take your time, read both, and ask us about anything that doesn’t make sense. We’re glad to talk it through.
If your home uses a private well, there’s no utility report to compare with, so your in-home test results give you a clear starting point.

Is the Free Water Test a Sales Appointment?
Our purpose is to test your water, help you understand the results and identify appropriate treatment options where needed.
Because Florida Water Analysis supplies and installs water treatment equipment, our specialist may discuss products and pricing with you if your results indicate that treatment could be beneficial.
We believe in being transparent about that from the outset.
The water test is free, and any decision to purchase a recommended system is yours to make.

What We Can Help You With
If your test shows your water would benefit from treatment, Florida Water Analysis offers:
Reverse osmosis and whole-home filtration
Water softening
UV Sterilization
Well water treatment for sulfur, iron, tannic acid/tannins, hardness & bacteria
Air purification
pH-balanced reverse osmosis drinking water
Acidic well water correction
Reverse osmosis naturally lowers the pH of water, so we use a specialized filtration cartridge to bring it back up. Some Florida well water is very acidic, especially in Highlands County, including Avon Park, Sebring and Lake Placid. We can correct this with a calcite (calcium carbonate) tank.
Received a Water Testing Mailer?
Florida Water Analysis uses direct mail as one way of letting homeowners know about our free in-home water testing service.
We want to be clear about who we are and why you may have received one. Florida Water Analysis is a private water testing and treatment company. We are not a city, county, water utility or government agency.
Our mail campaigns are marketing communications designed to make homeowners aware of the opportunity to have their water tested. Receiving one does not mean that you are required to have your water tested or purchase a water treatment system.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why Did I Receive a Mailer?
Our mail campaigns are used to introduce homeowners to our free water testing service and provide an opportunity to request an in-home appointment.
Receiving a mailer does not, by itself, mean that a problem has been identified with the water at your property.
If you choose to respond and arrange a test, your appointment will be with Florida Water Analysis and the same no-obligation process explained on this page applies.
Is the Mailer an Official Water Quality Notice?
No. Florida Water Analysis is an independent water treatment company, and our direct mail is marketing for our services.
It should not be interpreted as an official notice from your local government, county or water utility.
You are not required to respond, arrange a test or purchase anything from Florida Water Analysis.
Why Do We Offer Free Water Testing?
Water conditions can vary between homes depending on location, water source, plumbing and other property-specific factors.
Testing allows us to assess the water at your property before recommending treatment rather than assuming that every household needs the same solution.
If treatment isn't something you wish to pursue after receiving your results, there is no obligation to take things any further.
